Multiple Twitter Accounts – Same E-Mail Address

Sometimes it’s necessary, or at least preferable, to have multiple presences on Twitter. I had to start a Twitter account for this very blog, and in order to do that I used a GMail trick I remembered from a while ago.

To set up multiple Twitter accounts on one email account using GMail:

1. Go to the sign up page.
   1. Enter your email address
   2. Add a + sign after the first part, and then enter an identifier, like your Twitter account name – Example: [email protected]
   3. Anything after the plus sign is disregarded when it comes to mail delivery, but you can use it to create filters in GMail, and you can use this method for mail organization as well.
