Windows 7 Enterprise – What?
Tue, Sep 1, 2009What is Windows 7 Enterprise? Turns out it’s another way of saying Ultimate, and getting your boss to pay for it.
From several sources: the only difference between Windows 7 Ultimate and Windows 7 Enterprise is the licensing method (as a user, I know that it can be activated online like the other editions, but it evidently uses VLKs instead of.. retail?) And Enterprise looks really good when you’re trying to get a big PO signed – where as Ultimate sounds like you’re trying to buy a gaming machine.
